The Journey Begins
IN 2023 for her inaugural grants, OSF opened her doors to receive applications from students within public universities in Nigeria.
The result was 1000+ applications out of which emerged eleven finalists.
This eleven embody the true spirit of OSF; integrity, hard work, commitment and collaboration. They are the extraordinary #OSFtorchbearers.
From Mechatronics Engineering to Biomedical Science, Pharmacy to Medicine and Surgery, Software Engineering to Industrial Chemistry — the eleven awardees of 2023 continue to demonstrate that their circumstances do not define their destinies. With an impressive average CGPA of 4.5, these OSF scholars are relentless in both academic and extracurricular pursuits. They make the most of available resources, channel their energy into what they can control, and steward their most valuable asset, time, with intention and purpose.
